The Eleventh Little Indian Boy

Funny conversation between Milbrae and myself today at lunch in the cafeteria:

Me: Hey foo....haha...look at that dude.
Milbrae: Where?
Me: Over there....look at his pants ( bootcut that were way too tight and flared )
Milbrae: *looking*
Me: *laughing*
Milbrae: Man, next time don't say anything if you see something like that.
Me: How come?
Milbrae: Because it's something that most people don't wanna see but will probably remember....
Me: Ha Ha Ha!

Seriously.....I could have sworn that they were women's jeans....but oh well, in the eyes of the maker we're probably all just a pair of good ol' fashioned 501 blues....=)

You know what's worse than being stuck on the bridge b/c an over enthusiastic bunch of protestors decided they wanted to flood the freeways to make a statement? Travelling home on that same bridge at one in the morning and discovering that the 5 lanes usually opened up for easy access had all been condensed into one due to "construction and maintenance".

Sigh.

Thoughts that have made my day this week......The bunny dance, Chauncey for three, splendors of Poland, Macca, 5 dollar tips, egg yolk sunset, CHKLG eating right, Paypal, Estella Havisham, AVF 2192g, 2.32 per gallon, and peeps.....the freaking peeps are BACK!!!

Tuesday, March 18, 2003:

Yesterday was probably one of the most horrible days of my semi young life. A day that slowly dragged on silently while dispensing pain and torment intermittently every few hours or so. Haha....it was comparable to childbirth I guess....strictly hear say that is.....since I really don't have any basis for comparison....=P Anyways, it was one of those experiences where you are left totally deflated and floored. But this isn't a sob story folks....no sappy Korean soap opera type scenario ( where a guy meets a girl while trying to deliver a stray dog's puppies in the middle of a ship packed with refugees fleeing from a tyrannical post office worker who went blind trying to develop his own pictures taken of a one legged bird that sings just like his ......you get the picture.....) up in here. No sir....I went to Hip Hop Dancing class baby!!

It was alot of fun for me. The fact that I was one of two genetic XY's in the entire class was a little bit uncomfy, but this being my second time around, the movements were much more easier to adapt to and overall it seemed as if my body became just a tad bit more flexible this time around. Still can't do a perfect split and the inverted sit ups will surely be consistent in pain, but our teacher is very dedicated and specific, which means that sooner or later I'm going to be able to break it down with the best of em on the dance floor....or I may just break down completely...haha. Still deciding whether or not I wanna be in the recital....=P Jediman....where you at dude?

Went to my happy place today...and this is what came to mind......Harris' Restaurant / a very Kennedyesque swank type joint...very GW in the hippest sense of comparison / should have ordered a cosmopolitan / impeccable food served with a smile / do you know what a baked alaska is? Uhhh.....No....=P / Hmmm...second grade eh? , Strolling down Polk street with Shorty / Japanese condensed tea leaves.....smells great tastes.......what is a word implying disdain that rhymes with taste? / poor little naked parakeet / beautiful armoirs with authentic iron cast keys / black cats are the coolest / bottom line....if you like to shop and you love to stroll......take some time out and see what the city has to offer, Lumps vision meeting / inspiring to hash out the details and see people take the initiative to step up / E and A are awesome...they make the fellowship go round....with help from the Lord of course...=) / got a feeling that positive changes are right around the corner, Batting cage blues / laughed at crazy HK left handed game's first couple of whiffs in the cage....then proceeded to hit 1 out of 19 balls thrown to me.....and that one hit was a bunt which I fouled straight into my foot...haha...!! / cherry blossom is a hilarious minigolfer / got burned on the mini basketball machine....then proceeded to set the record straight, Cheese for Me.....Moonshine for JYee....the bartering system at it's finest!!

Driving on the open road has always been a great source of pleasure for me. Especially when the air is nice and clean and the radio is kindly playing out a wide variety of enjoyable tunes. The bay area has often been this embodiment at it's finest. It is so relaxing when you're just driving by yourself with the windows down...crooning away at the top of your lungs.....with no worries or reservations....observing the scenery all around and letting your thoughts flow freely as well. A little too bohemian for some of you? Perhaps, but I do believe that we all share unique variations of this phenomenom at ideal moments in our lives. In fact, I KNOW for a fact that certain people out there know what's up....=P.

Case in point was at the intersection of Lawton and Sunset a few nights ago. On my way back to the crib (away from the crib away from....the crib) I stopped at a routine intersection along with some other cars. Seconds before the lights turned green, the DJ of the station I was listening to suddenly decided to throw on some funky music.....Chumbawumba to be exact....you know.....Tub Thumper? I get knocked down? Yeah, you know what I'm saying...=P Anyways, as I started to drive my brain activity also began to increase as well. I was singing along, bobbing my head, smiling, and just enjoying the moment for what it was. At the ensuing intersection I noticed that the woman in a car immediately to my right was watching me in amusement. Haha. Window being rolled down already, I just started looking at her ( still singing ) and just kind of gave her the look ( not the LOOK....but a look....a funny one ). She flashed a smile and began to nod her head as if she somehow understood and proceeded to drive back into her own agenda. Hahahaha......I dunno.....stuff like that totally makes me laugh.....life is short....you gotta make the most out of your stay. Peace out!!

Not many people know about the ELEVENTH little indian boy. Quite simply he was the one who didn't really want to follow in the footsteps of the other 10 and at times even held grandiose dreams of being a cowboy one day. In a world that is changing ever so fast, one can only hope and pray.
