The Eleventh Little Indian Boy

Tuesday, May 13, 2003:

Ate some left over dim sum items tonight for dinner. Everything was still pretty good and tasty. I was in the process of chewing one of those rice blob thingys that come all wrapped up in the giant green leaves ( you know what I'm referencing? The ones with sticky rice, egg yolk, and shrooms? ) when something hard and sharp poked me right in the side of my tongue. Immediately I shuffled the foreign object to the front of my mouth and worked it over with my two front teeth. I knew what it was. Didn't even have to get a better look. I think that my immediate comment was...." I hope this isn't what I think it is". Haha....it was. I had a freaking fingernail clipping baked into my chinese delicacy. Yum. Since there were only two bites left I decided to just finish things up. Already gobbled most of it right? No harm done.....unless it was a toe nail clipping....bleah.....=P I guess SARS isn't the only thing that we have to fear when visiting chinese eateries these days. I'm out. Peace.

Not many people know about the ELEVENTH little indian boy. Quite simply he was the one who didn't really want to follow in the footsteps of the other 10 and at times even held grandiose dreams of being a cowboy one day. In a world that is changing ever so fast, one can only hope and pray.
