The Eleventh Little Indian Boy

Sunday, August 31, 2003:

Hmmmm.....things that $7.50 would have gotten me in this world: burger / fries / shake at Fuddrucker's, 30 games of street fighter ( ultimate measure of worth as a child ), 2 long stem yellow roses, a jumbo box of snickers at Costco, 1 pack of Upperdeck basketball cards, nice pair of cargos on sale, tortilla chips and water, pens / pad / and envelopes, well drink at a club, cover charge at a ghetto club, vintage book from a second hand bookstore, golf club at Goodwill, two venti caramel macchiatos, 3 gallons of gas, and a one way cab ride for roughly 3 miles.....what did I spend it on though?

Freddy vs. Jason with Speakerboy. *sigh*......well, if there was one person that I would see this movie with.....it was Speakerboy. Actually, it wasn't all that bad towards the finale. The highly anticipated fight sequence in the end satisfied all of my curiosities while closing another imaginary chapter in the book that is my mind. It was so wierd.....I wasn't scared at all....in fact, at times I found myself laughing. Haha...oh well...I guess that you lose that sense of fearing the fantasy unknown with age.

Funny quote from Speakerboy at lunch....

Anonymous sis: "Why don't guys just work out and get ripped just to do it?"

Speaker boy: "Same reason why girls don't lose weight...b/c it's hard"

*LIB take: Ouch....harsh...but funny....muahahaha!

Not many people know about the ELEVENTH little indian boy. Quite simply he was the one who didn't really want to follow in the footsteps of the other 10 and at times even held grandiose dreams of being a cowboy one day. In a world that is changing ever so fast, one can only hope and pray.
